Wang Dae Bak

Korean BBQ with the family at Wang Dae Bak, 98 Amoy Street.
JY and I usually go to Joo Mak at Beauty World for Korean BBQ but for a change,
I decided to go to WDB this time as recommended by a Korean friend.

The total bill came up to about $200 for 6 people, pretty reasonable for Korean BBQ.
We ordered 5 servings of meat (2x pork belly, 2x beef ribs and 1x pork ribs)
One Kimchi Jjiggae, one Ginseng Chicken Soup and a Kimchi Pancake.

The food at WDB is less tasty/salty as compared to Joo Mak but I guess it is better for older people?

Beef ribs!
See the yellow thing at the sides? MY FAVOURITE ~ Egg

Fatty pork belly

Kimchi Pancake
This is not a very flattering picture but it definitely tastes a lot better than it looks

Kimchi & Ginseng Chicken Soup that Papi super like.
He literally finished the whole bowl himself.

Sam and I, we are really sisters hahahahahaha
Our poses were unintentional :P

Couldn't decide which filter I like better so this is the best of both worlds? :P

Pretty In Petals Dress - White
(Will be released in our boutique this week!!)

Mint Daze

I'm on a blogging spree! :D

Some time last week I met Zoe for my 2nd session with Revive Wellness (:
I took up the Snowflake Permanent Hair Removal package (Includes 7-8 sessions that is sufficient for permanent results) for both underarm ($388) and half leg ($830).
If you've been following my blog,
you might have read that I have an (Unlimited) underarm laser hair removal package with Musee.
Been with Musee for a year and a half.
I did find the new hair growth finer and lesser,
but its taking way too long to completely no hair growth so I decided to take the jump.
Not sure if its because they only allow treatment once every 3 months :|

Over at Revive Wellness, we are recommended to go down at once every 2-3 weeks
so we can expect to see the results sooner.
I'll share more about my experience after the 4th/5th session for clearer results!

Disclaimer: This is not an advertorial, I'm a paying customer.
I was happy with the results after the first trial session before I decided to take up the packages.

Seeing her this Thursday again with the TNS girlies for dinner! :D

Outfit of the day
Run Some Errands Shirt - Mint (Upcoming in the HH boutique!)
Destroyed denim shorts from BKK
Ring stacks from ASOS/Lovisa
Sandals from Aldo

The boyf is out with his friends, I am alone in his room.
Can't sleep because I ate one too many durians
so I randomly visited online shopping sites and in a FEW clicks, I spent close to SGD300 D:

Paypal is evil.
It makes online shopping TOO CONVENIENT.

I know I'll take back my words tomorrow when I start verifying payments by Paypal :P
But for whenever I shop online, Paypal is evil.

Old friends

Friends are the bacon bits in the salad bowl of life (:

CNY gathering over at Darren's before he flew off to Brisbane.
Another man down.
Now we have RK in France and Darren in Aussie leaving Daryl all alone, with us girls :P

Our next full strength meeting will be a pretty long wait :(

Whats a CNY gathering without some gambling?
As usual, I had zero luck. Be it Blackjack or In-between :|

Outfit of the day
In a very decent dress that day because of dinner with J's family prior to meeting the homies.
Braided Leather Belt - Maroon
Brown leather watch from GC

OOTD - Ruche A Kiss Top in Coral

I love lunch outings with Mel (:
We haven't known each other for very long but we'll never run out of topics to talk about!

Lunch at Junction 8, Ambush last Tuesday!
Meeting her again later for quick lunch before outdoor shoot (:

All time favourite Scallop Pasta that I barely ate because of my poor appetite :(

After lunch we went shopping!!
Scored another 2 pairs of shoes and 4 stacks of rings at awesome sale prices from Lovisa!
I immediately told JY about my new shoe purchases and he went  *STRESS*
Hahahaha what a cutie.
I actually do not have space for more shoes at home
so I'll just chuck the shoe boxes on the bench or wherever seems empty
and when it gets out of hand, my Momma will start nagging.. at him because it never works on me :P
Owell, maybe I should start clearing my shoe cabinet soon! Might rediscover old loves.

Send your resumes to with subject: Application for Retail Assistant (:

Random pictures from one of the last few working days before the shop was closed for CNY break!

Re-stocks ON THE WAY!!

JY and the girls doing closing.
I'm a true blue idiot when it comes to the cashier D:

Happy Snake Year

This CNY feels a little different because I did very little visiting and partied too much D:
In fact, I spent the days nursing hangovers and then party again at night.
Can't do this again next year, age is catching up.

Pictures from CNY Day 1!!

Annual family portrait before we headed to church for CNY mass (:

& a cheesy shot :D

Outfit of the day
Black wedge from Aldo

Super pretty right? But hard to balance D:
I think I can only wear it for short dinner outings or for photoshoots.

Us fooling around in Papi's car
I helped my sister apply some slight makeup but everyone says she look weird D:
I think she is one of the few girls that looks better without make-up haha

In contrast to my poor makeup "service" she did a brilliant job braiding my hair!!

All in Hollyhoque!! <3

The Tham cousins :D
There are other older cousins not in this picture but the 8 of us, we've been playing together since young.
We used to have so much fun gathering together every Sunday! Cycling, swimming, playing Taboo..

Over at my maternal family (:
These 2 stole my camera to camwhore (Until no more battery D: Hahaha)

Grandma <3

Sammi working her magical hands ><

One last picture of an instant film we took and the night ended with some hardcore partying to Dash Berlin.

Sushi Bar at FEP

I'm trying to make an effort to blog as frequent as I can
because of the people that still check back regularly <3

I feel like I've forgotten how to blog D:
Pfft, where should I start?

Ah okay!
I'll share a secret sushi place tucked in a inconspicuous corner of the 3rd floor at FEP today (:

Sushi Bar
Far East Plaza, #03-89

Sneaked some time away from the HH store one weekday for dinner there with the mister.

We ordered a lot of dishes but I'm just going to list the few I like best :D

Salmon Belly that was very nicely cut and extremely fresh, tastes like the ocean

Fried to perfection!
One of the best we've ever had.

So smooth and slippery it just melts in the mouth.
My favourite Chawanmushi is from B@Rochester but the one from Sushi Bar is as good at only 1/3 the price ($2.80)!! D:

Sirloin Steak
So sinfully succulent and juicy

Outfit of the day (:
Ripped Knit Cardigan in Black
Tank top from Cotton On
Chanel GST
Bling flats from BKK

Remember I said I was going to get a new camera from my Nuffnang paycheck? :P
After much consideration, I decided to get the Samsung EX2F because of the
1) Swivel screen
2) WIFI function that enables me to transfer pictures ANYWHERE
3) Beauty mode >

Smooth until cannot smooth hahahahaha

Thanks for dropping by!
