Osteria Mozza

If you follow me on twitter, you might have read that we did a massive cleanup at the office on Saturday. 
Got up early on Sunday to continue with the cleaning/packing/shifting before we were headed to MBS, Osteria Mozza for brunch with Mel & Brad :D

That's the only thing I was looking forward to the entire weekend, so I was very happy.. and excited ^^
Even tonged my hair okay :P 

Here we are! (: 
I heard that they are always very packed for dinners, 
like you have to book one week in advance or something D:

Hehe she bought me the "Cheers" drinking bear so I decided to name it after one of my favourite drinks :P 

No prizes even if you guessed what is going on in this picture :P 

Pastries to start the meal (: 
They all tasted so good, I could just have that for brunch lol. 

We ordered 6 dishes for sharing. 
The portions were pretty small so the 4 of us managed to finish everything 
and even ordered 2 desserts!!

I'm not a fan of tomato based pastas, but the mister enjoyed every bit of it. 

Farfalle also known as bow tie pasta :P 
Mel & I like this the best out of the 3 pastas we ordered. 
Its has a light refreshing taste and the bread crumbs added texture and crunch to the whole dish! 

I didn't take note of the name of this dish but sausage was one of the main ingredients used. 
The gravy has this peppery taste that reminds me of Bak Kut Teh. 

The average price for pasta is about $35 and honestly, I don't think I'll pay so much for the quality. 
Go to Ristorante Da Valentino at Turf City if you're looking for real pastas!!

Blueberry Pancakes, $14
Now this dish is value for money and its good! 

It doesn't just look like that > 

There are berry bits in the pancake too!! 
Goes especially well with the cream cheese <3 

Grilled Chopped Wagyu Beef, Medium-rare
Meat is extremely soft and succulent, the kind that needs minimal chewing.

Pesto Benedict

Traditional Italian Cheesecake with Honey
It is lighter and fluffier than the usual creamy cheesecake we get from cafes. 
This is also the first time I've tried cheesecake with honey! 
Something refreshing, something different.
