Highlights Of Bangkok Day 2 + Video

In continuation of my holiday in Bangkok Day 1..

Started the morning bright and early shopping along the streets of Pratunam
before we headed to Platinum Mall for some crepes.

My all time favourite snack! Can be found at the basement of Platinum Mall.

Off to "Sam Peng" (Pronounced Sarm-Pehng) located within Chinatown for wholesale accessories shopping!
Our cab fare from Platinum Mall was approximately 140 Baht, 20-25 minutes.

Imagine our delight when we saw so many accessories stores!? :D
I bought quite a bit of props/accessories for HH's photoshoots at a steal!

& we knew it was time to leave when our poor arms couldn't take the load of our shopping anymore :P

At Roast for lunch! (:
Roast is located at Seen Space Thong Lor Soi 13.

There are many other restaurants at Seen Space and I'll surely be back again to try them!
Its like the Holland V in Singapore.

Outfit of the day
HH Haute High Neckline Top in Black, available only on backorders (:
Drop us an email at hollyhoque@gmail.com to order!!
Remake of the skater skirt in new colours will be coming really soon!

The crowded restaurant on a late Saturday afternoon. We waited 20 minutes for a table.

Clam Chowder

Must order Duck Confit!!
The meat was extremely tender and went especially well with the cranberry sauce.

Zoe's Steak Burger

& Seafood Stew

Desserts at Mr.Jone's Orphanage, a few steps away from Roast

Cakes galore!!

The setting of the restaurant is so cozy and comfortable!!
I can stay there all afternoon..

Red Velvet Cake

How can we not get a massage when in Bangkok!!
Our initial plan was to go to Body Tune, near Silom BTS (My favourite massage place in Bangkok to date)
but they were fully booked for the next 3 days :'( :'(

So we ended up at a random massage place.. which wasn't too bad I guess?
Good enough to ease the sore on my legs.

In our TukTuk ride back to the hotel before dinner.
Super gangster, this driver.

I MUST have dinner at Somboon Seafood at least once whenever I'm in Bangkok :P
There are a few outlets in Bangkok but I usually go to the Bantadthong outlet
as it is the closest from Pratunam.

Clams with super epic chili sauce

Morning Glory or what we know as "Kang Kong"

Curry crab with lots of egg :D

Just foolin' around while waiting for Liz's other Thai friend, Gui to meet us! :D

& we were off to Rod Fai Night Market :D
It is a pretty huge area beside an old railroad track.

They've got 2 sections, indoor (Where most of the vintage, retro stuff can be found)
and an open air shopping bazaar.

Say whaaaaat?? #Likeabaus
The outdoor shopping area is quite happening and VERY congested so I didn't get many pictures.
Shopping there is generally cheaper than at Asiatique.

& this is Gui! ><

Last stop of the night: Khao San Road, where all the pubs and clubs are.

Gui brought us for some beer at a Brick Bar before we called it a day.
