Resorts World Genting - 2D1N

If you follow me on Dayre, you might have read that I spent the weekend in Genting Highlands -
Thanks to the kind people at Resorts World Genting! J and I got up as early as 5AM on Saturday morning to make sure we reach Golden Mile at 6.30AM for our bus ride up to Genting! We were pretty excited about the trip because Genting was our first "overseas" trip 7-8 years back :P If you have a weekend to spare, Genting Highlands will be the perfect choice to escape from the heat in Singapore! There is so much to do there! Eating, spa/massage, shows/performances, indoor theme park, a drink or 2 at the bars, try your luck at the casino (Without having to pay the $100 levy :P).. and the list goes on!!

Honestly, I wasn't expecting much of the bus ride so imagine my delight when I saw our FIRST CLASS (By Transtar) bus!
>>>

Besides the amazing leg room, this bus also provided us with a mini tablet each for entertainment!
There was a great selection of movies to keep us occupied <3

Uh huh, J very busy with his movies & games.

I was on my phone most of the time because I had data and look they've got on the bus?!?
Power point to charge phone!!! Super happy! :D

Breakfast on board

& after 2 stopovers for toilet breaks, we were already in Genting!
Thank you Transtar for making our ride up so so comfortable <3

We met up with the marketing peeps of RWG and were greeted with lunch at Imperial Rama upon arrival! They fed us with so much good food throughout our stay!! Very dangerous for the waistline haha! Photo above, is the DIY Thai Salad for starters (:

Seafood Tom Yum Soup (Favourite!! Because super spicy hahaha)

The extravagant fish - 3000RM :O

Alaskan King Crab steamed with egg white (Another favourite!)

Teochew Cold Crab

Extremely fresh and juicy!

Deep Fried Beancurd (Another favourite favourite haha)
The meal was too good I had so many favourites :P

Nomnom

Green Curry Chicken Fried Rice

DURIAN TEMPURA <3 <3

Next up on our itinerary was massage at Spa M!
But before that, we decided to check in to Genting Grand first to keep our baggages in the room.

Our room for the night! (:
Pretty spacious with a living area and there is a toilet in the bathtub!! <3

The 1 hour Balinese massage we had was fantastic!
I fell asleep within 10 minutes until I was asked to flip over, THAT GOOD.
It was instant rejuvenation and I wished we had more time for another round :P

Dinner at Genting Club before the IL DIVO concert!

Love the classy decor and open kitchen concept!

Nigiri Sushi
My favourite is the Salmon! The jelly looking topping goes extremely well with is! Yum :D

Chicken Consomme With Scallop Ravioli > Sweet and very refreshing
Don't you just love the pretty detailing? A for effort!

"Mee Suah"

1) Vanilla Ice Cream
2) Berries Triffle
3) Strawberry Soup

All the dishes were good but my heart fell for the dessert.
Just look at the super cute presentation!
It tastes just as good as it looks :P

After dinner was the IL DIVO concert we've all been waiting for!!
The performance was spectacular and their voices combined? Simply amazing.
(A pity we weren't allowed to take pictures)

They also had with them a guest performer, Lea Salonga who is the singing voice for Jasmine in Aladdin - A Whole New World!! :O Honestly, I didn't know who she was initially and while she was singing A Whole New World, I was wondering to myself, "Whoa, this lady sounds very close to the original", turns out, she IS the original singer hahahaha :D Starstruckkk <3 <3

They have new performances every other week so do check out their website for more!

A group photo after the performance ended (:

One with my blog manager, Amantha from Nuffnang! :D
Thanks for making sure everything was alright!

Last few selfies before we checked out and played at few games at the casino :P

Can't wait to be back again when the theme park is ready for operation!! :D

Garnier Sakura White

Booya!!
Received a bag of goodies from Garnier some time back
& I'm so excited to share with you what's in it!

The most important factor I look for in a skin care product is hydration.
2nd most important? Rosy and glowing skin!
Looks like Garnier heard me with their Sakura White series! :D

Imagine my delight when I received Garnier's best selling Sakura White range a couple of weeks ago! ^^
The guide to rosy glowing skin.

Out of all 5 products, my favourite is the Sakura White Super Hydration Booster, $22.90
the latest addition to the Sakura White range.
The Hydration Booster contains 2 key ingredients:
 1) Sakura extracts (As with all the other products in the same range)
2) Super Hydrating Gel

The unique formula consists of 5000 Sakura pearls that contains super concentrated Sakura extracts.
Can you spot the sakura pearls through the bottle? :P

The Sakura beads bursts upon application to blend with the hydrating gel

Leaving you soft and supple skin with a rosy glow.
Here is a before and after shot. Hand on the right side is brighter & has a pinkish glow.

The Super Hydration Booster can be added in both your day & night skin care regime.
To be used after cleansing and/or lotion prior to moisturizer.

In my morning routine, I use the Hydration Booster & Moisturizing Day Cream (SPF21++) before applying foundation and this combination keeps my skin incredibly moisturized the entire day!

I applied foundation to both hands but the one on the right is significantly pinker and brighter!
Can you tell? :D

I'm never leaving the Hydration Booster out of my skin care regime ever!
You should try it too because there is 20% off all the products under the Sakura White range now through April! Available at Watsons, Guardian and major supermarkets!

Thank you Garnier! x
